GPS, GLONASS, COMPASS & GALILEO GNSS signals now available in NZ using the latest new SOUTH S82 XDL GNSS.
COMPASS satellites provide a significant number of visible satellites in New Zealand now and there are at times more COMPASS satellites visible than GPS or GLONASS. In addition the number of COMPASS satellites is increasing rapidly unlike other constellations.
More satellites available mean a better performance of GNSS in marginal areas such as around trees and buildings
In addition the new S82 XDL GNSS includes an internal UHF radio compatible with Pacific Crest and third party GNSS solutions which support the TRIMTALK protocol.
